The Rusitec Model 3896 provides a semi-automated rumen fermentation process minimising the hands on time when analysing feeds and other products. The instrument controls agitation and temperature to control the fermentation process.
The instrument is built out of a black powder coated mild steel frame, measuring approximately 648mm x 476mm x 800mm.
The internal tank is made of mild steel and is externally powder coated blue for enhanced durability. There is also a stainless steel internal liner for added protection.
The top drive plate consists of aluminium which features hardened guide rods and linear bearings for consistent operation. Bearing housings are finished in black powder coat.
The Rusitec chamber holding plate is manufactured from a hard wearing polymer.
The instrument operates using a drive shaft assembly complete with bearing blocks and eccentric flywheels.
There is an option of vessel configurations including 8 vessel, 12 vessel and 16 vessel options.
